Hi, I'm Jace, and along with my wife Jo, we run Scruffy Prints :)
For eight years, we were a two-dog household until we lost Willow, our Collie/German Shepherd cross, at the grand old age of 15.
Willow had such a positive impact on our lives, but neither of us were prepared for the impact losing her would have. We were devastated.
With time, the grief has softened and we look back with enormous happiness and gratitude for the years we had with her.
We wanted something special to remember Willow by, a keepsake that would make sure, as the years passed, our memories of her never faded.
We've always been very creative, so decided to make something we could hang on the wall. The result was a beautiful watercolour portrait that perfectly captured Willow and the happiness she brought into our lives.
We loved it so much that we wanted to give other pet owners the chance to own something just as special.
Remember I said we were a two-dog household? Well, say hello to Ivy :)
She's a Chihuahua/Yorkie/Poodle cross and, despite our best efforts and regular trips to the groomers, she's a scruffy little mess, and all the more adorable for it :)
And so Scruffy Prints was born: from the heartache of losing Willow, the love we still have for her, and the wonderfully scruffy Ivy who keeps us smiling.
